Application Requirements
Master’s Degree Application Requirements
Global Food Law Master’s Degree Applicants submit the following required items through the online application portal:
- Online Application
- Application Instructions (PDF)
- Resume or curriculum vitae
- Statement of Purpose
- Three letters of recommendation
- English proficiency test score (TOEFL or IELTS), if applicable
- Application Fee
- $65 Domestic Applicant
- $75 International Applicant
- Transcripts from all degree-granting universities attended
Applicants who have obtained a degree outside the United States must have an official transcript on file with Michigan State University College of Law no later than December 1st. An official transcript is one sent directly from the foreign institution to Michigan State University, whether electronically or by mail. Both the transcript in the original language, and officially translated, are required (if applicable).
Transcripts issued to the student and sent to Michigan State University are not considered official transcripts. These transcripts will be verified by the University to ensure that the applicant has a verified degree that is the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree according to the requirements of Michigan State University.
